About Lisa Furman

Lisa Furman plays an eclectic blend of Celtic and traditional American folk music including old time, gospel and dance music.

In 2006, she released her debut album, "Lucky Girl", which featured a mix of traditional and original music which received airplay on folk radio programs throughout New England.

She has performed at a number of venues in Connecticut, New York, Vermont and Rhode Island with her band, "The Blue Flies" featuring, over the years, a host of talented musicians and guest performers including Stacy Phillips, Chris Teskey, Dick Neal, Howie Bujese, Dan Hocott, Frank Pergola and Josh Cohen.
