Music Description
Lisa Furman and her band, the Blue Flies, play an eclectic blend of Celtic, americana and bluegrass music. Joined by Chris Teskey on guitar, Dick Neal and Joshua Cohen on banjo, Frank Pergola on mandolin and Tahlia Furman on fiddle, the band performs lively dance tunes, driving bluegrass rhythms, western swing and a few sultry ballads. Lisa’s debut album, entitled, Lucky Girl, which was released in 2006, has received radio airplay on folk stations throughout New England.
